Dhule – The School of Commerce at SVKM NMIMS Global University organized an orientation program for the newly admitted BBA and BCA students of the 2025–2028 batch on 20th July 2025. The program commenced with the auspicious Saraswati idol worship and lamp lighting ceremony.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Alok Mehta, was felicitated by the Dean, Dr. Shriprakash Soni. In his welcome address, Dr. Soni delivered a short yet inspiring speech, guiding students on how to approach their academic journey. Chief Guest Mr. Alok Mehta also shared his valuable thoughts and encouraged students to make the most of their time at the university.
The proceedings were skillfully conducted by CA Pooja Sadane, who also introduced all teaching and non-teaching staff members. The anchoring was enthusiastically carried out by second-year BBA students Ms. Niyati and Ms. Samradni.
Prof. Rajendra Agrawal gave a detailed explanation of the academic calendar, covering Term 1 start dates, examinations, holidays, internal assessments, and more. CA Pooja Sadane further elaborated on the library resources and how students can benefit from them.
More than 170 students and parents participated in the event. The orientation was followed by a delicious lunch arranged for all invitees and university staff.
The event was a grand success, leaving all students and parents happy, satisfied, and excited for the journey ahead.
