Dr. Amol Chintaman Badgujar is an accomplished academic, researcher, and innovator specializing in thin film photovoltaics, nanomaterials, and renewable energy technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from IIT Bombay, where he pursued research on Copper Indium Gallium Diselenide (CIGS) solar cells in advanced large-area, high-efficiency solar technologies. Currently, Dr. Badgujar is an Assistant Professor at SVKM’s Institute of Technology, Dhule, where he teaches mechanical engineering and materials science. His courses integrate Python programming, machine learning, and advanced material characterization techniques, preparing students with industry-relevant skills. Dr. Badgujar has led innovative projects on thin film deposition, laser scribing, and nano-ink printing, resulting in high-impact publications in journals like ACS Omega and Solar Energy. His contributions have earned him the Best Paper Award at DAMFT 2021 and an International Travel Grant from SERB-DST. A life member of the Indian Laser Association and Solar Energy Society of India, Dr. Badgujar actively reviews articles for reputed journals and collaborates with industry and academia to drive advancements in renewable energy technologies.
