Dr. Amol Chintaman Badgujar is an Associate Professor in the School of Technology Management and Engineering at SVKM NMIMS Global University, Dhule. With over a decade of expertise in academia and research, his work focuses on Materials Engineering, Thin Film Photovoltaics and Advanced Manufacturing. Dr. Badgujar earned his Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. His research contributions span the development of CIGS thin-film solar cells, transparent conductive electrodes, nanomaterials and laser-based materials processing. His research work has been published in reputed international journals, including ACS Omega, Solar Energy, ACS Applied Energy Materials, and Journal of Alloys and Compounds. Dr. Badgujar has also presented his research at several national and international conferences in India and abroad. Apart from research, Dr. Badgujar is actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Materials Science, Additive Manufacturing and Manufacturing Processes. He is recognized as a Ph.D. Supervisor and has contributed to curriculum development under NEP guidelines, institutional academic audits, NBA activities and AICTE initiatives, such as Technical Translations in Regional Languages. His current areas of interest include Thin Film Photovoltaics, Additive Manufacturing, Machine Learning applications in engineering, and advanced materials processing. He is also a reviewer for several international journals and a life member of professional bodies, including the Indian Laser Association, Solar Energy Society of India and ISTE.
