Dr. Raju Ratan Wadekar is an accomplished Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry at the School of Pharmacy and Technology Management, SVKM NMIMS Global University, Dhule. With over 18 years of rich academic and research experience, he holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy from K.L.E. University, Belagavi, and has made significant contributions in the domains of medicinal plant research, natural product chemistry, and herbal drug development. Dr. Wadekar has authored multiple textbooks and book chapters with prestigious publishers including Springer, CRC Press, and Elsevier, and has over 25 peer-reviewed publications to his credit. His research focuses on hepatoprotective, immunomodulatory, and phytopharmacological evaluation of herbal formulations. He has successfully completed several university-funded research projects and holds patents in phytopharmaceutical formulations and novel extraction technologies. An invited speaker at national and international platforms, Dr. Wadekar also plays a vital role in institutional development, curriculum delivery, and research mentorship. His recognitions include awards for best research paper, best faculty, and innovation excellence. He is a life member of several esteemed professional bodies including APTI, ISP, and IPA.
