Dr. Tulshidas S. Patil is an academician and pharmaceutical researcher with 11 years of experience in academics and research. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from SVKM’s NMIMS, Deemed-to-be University, Mumbai, where he was a Doctoral Scholarship awardee, and an M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. He is GPAT qualified and was an AICTE Fellowship awardee for postgraduate studies. His research interests focus on advanced and site-specific drug delivery systems, nanocarriers, theranostic nanomedicines, topical and transdermal delivery, QbD-based formulation and analytical development, and pharmaceutical interventions for pulmonary, dermatological, and neurodegenerative disorders. Dr. Patil has authored 23 publications in Scopus-indexed journals, receiving 583 citations, with an h-index of 13 and i10-index of 14. He has published 09 international book chapters, presented his research at 04 national and international conferences, and holds 01 granted utility patent, 02 granted design patents, and 01 published utility patent with the Indian Patent Office. He currently guides 04 Ph.D. scholars and has guided 08 M. Pharm students. He also serves as a peer reviewer for reputed international pharmaceutical journals. His academic and research pursuits integrate pharmaceutical technology, nanotechnology, formulation science, analytical development, and translational research toward the development of innovative and patient-centric drug delivery technologies.
